1. Must possess a valid California Education Specialist Credential, Deaf/Hard of Hearing 2. Must possess a valid English Learner Authorization 3. Must be proficient in American Sign Language (SLPI, Sign Language Proficiency Interview or an alternative testing method accepted by the applicant's credentialing program that proves fluency in ASL)
