Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor’s Degree Required in Early Child Development or related field Valid Child Development Program Director Permit Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience Minimum of 3 years of lead teacher experience in an early childhood (2-5 year old) center based program setting. Desired Results Developmental Profile, Teaching Pyramid/CSEFEL, Creative Curriculum preferred. Experience in state preschool, general childcare, or Head Start preferred Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Job Description: Under the general supervision of the Preschool Director, the Preschool Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of both fee-based and subsidized preschool programs. This includes planning, organizing, and managing program services, ensuring compliance with applicable fiscal, regulatory, and safety standards. The Preschool Program Manager supervises, supports, and evaluates the performance of assigned staff, while striving to maintain high-quality educational experiences for children and families. The role also involves monitoring program effectiveness and ensuring the achievement of program goals in line with district objectives.
