Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Director or Supervisor, serve as an Event Planning Specialist II. Perform a wide variety of responsible administrative support functions of a complex nature with knowledge of principles and techniques used in planning, coordinating and servicing multiple events, in County, regional and state programs or functions; assist supervisor with various budget planning, preparation and monitoring activities without direct supervision.
Requirements / Qualifications
Ed-Join Application Qualifications are any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school, passing the Stanislaus County Office of Education Event Planning Specialist Exam and three years of responsible secretarial or event planning experience. College-level course work in business office management or related field desirable. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.
