Requirements / Qualifications

* BA/BS preferred; Associate's degree + 4 years Administrative Assistant experience; or 8-10 years proven success as an Administrative Assistant.

Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants as part of the selection process. A completed EDJOIN online application is required. The Administrative Assistant III will perform a wide variety of complex office and administrative functions, including overseeing special projects requiring a variety of diverse, technical duties in an assigned area utilizing good communication skills; utilize specialized knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent and responsible public contact; analyze and interpret data; plan, organize and coordinate the department's office activities and communications to relieve the department administrators of routine duties; provide for accurate and timely entry of a variety data into various computer software programs.
