General Education substituting involves implementing lesson plans or current work in an elementary, middle, and/or high school setting in a collaborative teaching environment. Special Education substituting involves providing individualized and small group specialized instruction while serving in a special day class setting to students with mild to moderate support needs or moderate to severe support needs.

1. Two fingerprint background checks (live scan forms) for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE) 2. Valid, non-expired California Teaching Credential or California Sub Permit 3. TB Clearance within the last 60 days of your application 4. Three online Keenan Trainings 5. A completed EdJoin application
