The El Dorado County Office of Education and our participating school districts greatly appreciate your interest in the Classified Substitute Pool! These positions are on-call, as needed, and substitutes are at-will employees. This pool is used to temporarily fill classified vacancies, or provide additional support to programs. We are currently seeking substitutes in the following areas: • Classroom Assistants Preschool (Western Slope) • Classroom Assistants Preschool (South Lake Tahoe) • Clerical • Custodian/Maintenance • Food Service Workers • Health Clerks • Instructional Assistants Special Services • Library Aides • Yard Duty/Campus Monitors Substitutes can choose to work at any of the following districts that participate in the EDCOE Classified Substitute Pool: • Black Oak Mine Unified School District • Buckeye Union School District • Camino Union School District • El Dorado County Office of Education • El Dorado Union High School District • Gold Oak Union School District • Gold Trail Union School District • Indian Diggings School District • Latrobe School District • Mother Lode Union School District • Pioneer Union School District • Placerville Union School District • Pollock Pines School District • Rescue Union School District • Silver Fork School District

Requirements / Qualifications

Some positions have specific requirements and/or documents to be uploaded and included with your application as follows: Custodians, Food Services Workers: DMV Printout (Driving record can be found at dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/online/dr/welcome) • Clerical: Letter of Introduction • Instructional Assistant: High school diploma or equivalent, A.A. degree (or higher), or pass local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting special services student instruction • Library Aide: High School Diploma or equivalent, prior library and clerical experience • Health Clerk: Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
