Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services, the Director II, Accountability and State and Federal Programs coordinates the research, planning, implementation, fiscal reporting and evaluation of specially funded programs and serves as the District liaison with partner agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Certificates/License/Credentials: Possess a valid California Teaching Credential and California Administrative Services Credential authorizing service in an administrative position at the secondary level or equivalent position. Possess a valid California driver's license and evidence of insurability.

Typical qualifying background would include any combination equivalent to: Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of effective teaching experience that includes both instructional and leadership experience and/or administrative services experience in a school setting with responsibility for coaching and evaluating staff. Experience with Title I or other state and federal categorical program budgets and with implementing district wide initiatives preferred. Education: A Master's degree or higher in education, education administration or closely related field. Equivalency: A combination of education and experience equivalent to a master's degree in education, education administration or closely related field and four (4) years of effective school teaching experience that includes both instructional and leadership experience. Experience with Title I or other state and federal categorical program budgets including implementing district-wide initiatives preferred.
