Job Summary

Aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model, Visions seeks an adaptable and dynamic elementary/middle school counselor proficient in navigating diverse educational environments, including independent study, charter schools, community college resources, and non-site based instructional models. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong affinity for technology and virtual tools. They should possess expertise in providing strategies for academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, mental health support, and comprehensive college and career readiness guidance. Elementary and middle school experience preferred. In general this position will work a hybrid schedule of 1-2 days per month in the office and the other days remotely as instructed. In addition, this position requires in-person attendance to training, student/family meetings as needed and community events. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change.
