Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree Single Subject CA Credential in English Candidates with an intern credential are also considered Two years of urban teaching experience preferred Bilingual Spanish or Korean desirable, but not required Possession of either an English Learner Authorization (EL Authorization), Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) certificate; Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (CLAD) certificate; or Bilingual Certificate of Competence (BCC) required.

Salary: BSS salary is based on experience. You can find our current salary scale here. However, please know that our salary scale is under construction to create a more fair and equitable pay scale for the 25-26 school year. We anticipate releasing this updated scale by March.
Status: Full Time
Start Date: An exceptional candidate will assume a full time role no later than August 2025. Please click here to see this year’s academic calendar for reference, but please note that the 25-26 calendar will be provided to you as soon as you’re hired.
