Job Summary
Perform skilled activities in the maintenance and repair of SLOCOE facilities, utilities and equipment including tasks in carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, construction, plumbing and painting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: -High school diploma or equivalent. -Three years journey-level experience in the maintenance trades. -A valid California driver’s license. Desired: -Successful completion of post secondary training related to construction, building maintenance or related subject matter. -Successful completion of an applicable recognized trade union apprentice program.

Add'l Salary Info
Grade 33: $24.94 - $50.70/hour. Salary range represents steps 1-25. Salary step placement is determined by directly related experience and education in accordance with Merit System Rule 4872.1. Step placement beyond step 13 requires cabinet approval.
Length of Work Year
12 months per year, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
