Join our dynamic team at Visions In Education as a passionate Visual and Performing Arts instructor! This role invites you to guide students in the magical worlds of music, visual arts, or theater. You'll have the opportunity to teach students to create music, perform on stage, explore visual arts through diverse media — all while nurturing their creativity and self-expression. Collaborating with families and community partners, you’ll help students exceed educational goals in a flexible, supportive environment. From preparing performances to curating art exhibitions, your role will be instrumental in shaping the artistic growth of our students. Bring your passion for the arts and make a lasting impact! Teachers start on the salary schedule based upon semester units beyond their Bachelors. Visions step 1 is similar in pay to step 7 of surrounding districts and for that reason, most teachers start on step 1 of our salary schedule. For positions with credentials that are difficult to fill, additional steps may be given. $63,358 (0-29 units) $66,400 (30-60 units) $72,110 (60 or more units) Visions has a 20 step salary schedule for teachers which includes a 4.5% salary increase each school year until they reach Step 10. Visions teachers on Step 10, with 60+ units, earn up to $107,164. Teachers on Step 20, with 60+ units, earn up to $114,665. Possession of a valid California Single Subject teaching credential in one of the following: - Music or - Theater Arts or - Visual Art Possession of ELA/CLAD certification is required.
