Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager-Material Support Services, perform physical and clerical duties involved in the receiving, processing, storing, transporting and delivering of educational materials, merchandise, supplies, food, textbooks, equipment and furniture; collect, process and deliver District and U.S. mail; collect and process deliveries from school site cafeterias; perform equipment transfers to various sites as required, including donations to the District; collect, store and properly dispose of surplus District property and equipment in accordance with authorized procedures.

FILING DEADLINE - JANUARY 7, 2024, 4:30 PM District Classified application and supplemental form must be submitted to the Personnel Commission Office by the filing deadline. SELECTION PROCEDURE This is an OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list, fill a vacancy and hire substitutes. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent employees. The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM, 12 months per year. The recruitment process will consist of a written examination and an oral technical interview, which are tentatively scheduled during the weeks of January 13-24, 2025.
