Visions is seeking an Human Resources Assistant. This position will assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resources Department including interpretation of policies and procedures, data gathering, report preparation, employer-employee relations, and supporting the applicant hiring process. A two year college degree is preferred in the fields of Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field. A minimum of four years of experience in complex clerical work in human resources or closely related fields. Candidates with charter school or school experience are highly desired. QCC/QSS, Google Workspace (Suite), FMLA/CFRA, and HRIS/Data Management experience is a plus. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Carmichael/Gold River, CA and 2 days remotely. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. Visions In Education offers a very generous, competitive benefits package that includes options for 100% employer-paid Medical/Dental/Vision (single), retirement (CalPERS), vacation (10 days), sick time and holiday (22 which includes 2 weeks of paid time off over the holiday season). Classified employees are eligible for educational reimbursement up to $15,000.
