Job Summary
Under the general supervision of site administrator and direction of the Director of Student Services, the Behavior Specialist provides support, training, consultation, and assessment to site administrators and staff in support of special and general education students with behavioral challenges. In the course of his/her duties, the Behavior Specialist will work collaboratively with other service providers, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA’s), develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP’s) and behavior related goals, assist in the training of teachers and special services assistants.
