- NCLB Compliance (Proof of 48 semester units from an accredited college or university; or 2) Associate’s degree or higher; or 3) CBEST (Plus passage of CODESP Instructional Component); or 4) Passage of a Butte County Office of Education approved comprehensive Local Assessment Test (CODESP); or 5) Passage of another district approved Local Assessment Test)

Entry Level: Salary Schedule 5, Range 12, $20.72 - $30.61 per hour. Level 1: Salary Schedule 5, Range 32, $33.94 - $50.16 per hour. Placement is dependent upon experience.
Length of Work Year
6 hours per day/Monday – Friday/11 months/207 days annually (Prorated upon hire)

This position qualifies for CalPERS retirement. The employee contribution rate for CalPERS is either 7% or 8% of monthly earnings depending on the membership date. This position also contributes to Social Security. The contribution rate for Social Security is 6.2% of monthly earnings.
