Job Summary

Job Summary

Scott Valley Unified will be the employer of record, this position will serve in a remote capacity serving all K-12 LEAs in Siskiyou County including College of the Siskiyous. This allows you to live and work from anywhere within Siskiyou County. Candidates should be flexible, adaptable, organized, self-motivated and work independently in an effective manner. This position requires reimbursable travel within the service area to visit LEA's and community colleges and attend meetings and events within our large geographic region and state. The position is a limited term grant funded position, limited to the grant term and continuing grant funding. The position is hosted by the Scott Valley Unified School District in Siskiyou County in direct collaboration with the North/Far North Regional Technical Assistant Provider, the California Community College Chancellor's Office, the College of the Siskiyous, and partner school districts. Summary of the Position: The K-12 Pathway Coordinator will work with K-12 faculty, staff, and administration as well as industry partners to implement high quality CTE programs by assisting with planning, coordinating, organizing, and managing the operations and activities of the K-14 CTE programs for the assigned community college area and collaborative partner school districts. Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three full years of full time K-12 school district, county office of education, college or university work experience in a lead position. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse cultures of high school and community college students. A valid CA driver's license and ability to maintain insurability status. Ability to complete on-boarding and training. K-12 or college advising, career pathway, and/or grant experience are highly desirable. Data management is highly desirable.
