Job Summary
Job Summary
Counsels and confers with students within an identified college and career pathway. Provides program procedures, policies, goals and objectives, technical guidance and problem resolution to current and new students. Communicates with prospective students to share program details and pathway opportunities. Supports the growth of existing partnerships. Manages and supports an advisory group of students through successful transition to Community College co-enrollment and career pathway internship placement.

Bachelor’s degree required: Counseling, Social Services, Pupil Support Services, Business or STEM related areas of study preferred Minimum of two (2) years’ experience related to counseling or advising and supporting an Opportunity Youth population(young adults, age 16-24 who are not in school and not working) Additionally, one of the following may be used as one year of work experience toward meeting the two years of required experience: - Possession of an advanced industry certificate and/or a valid CA Career Technical Education credential in an approved industry sector as identified by the CA Commission on Teaching Credentialing. - One year of full-time general education teaching experience providing instructional services in secondary or post-secondary school settings. - One year of full-time work experience in an industry setting in a STEM related field. Work Year: August 19th - June 14th; 185/Days/Year
Starting salary of $32.58 to $36.86 per hour; Master's Stipend $1,800, Doctorate Stipend $2,000
