Job Summary

The job of “Transportation Dispatcher” works under the direct supervision of the Director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation to support the district’s student transportation services with specific responsibilities for assisting in the planning and coordination of bus routes and schedules; dispatch drivers and equipment required for transportation of students on designated routes, trips and special schedules; process service requests pertaining to routine and emergency maintenance issues; maintain department records in accordance with mandated requirements; recommends solutions to incidents, complaints and/or accidents; and perform duties of a Bus Driver as may be needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

•Valid CPR/First Aid Certification; •Minimum two years bus driving experience; •Department of Justice and FBI Fingerprint clearance; • Job-related experience is desired. •See the attached job description for additional qualifications.
