Classified Substitute is an on-call as needed position. Substitutes may work in a variety of different positions depending on their work experience.

The following are required for this position prior to hire: * Qualified candidates will be contacted to move forward with DOJ & FBI Fingerprint Clearance process * Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination (Required upon hire or exemption may be requested to HR) * TB clearance All District employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Successful applicants for this position will be required to submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or request an exemption for qualifying medical or religious reasons during the onboarding process. Applicants should not present proof of vaccination until directed to do so by the District’s Human Resources Office. Classified Substitute is an on-call as needed position Ideal applicants should have experience in the following areas: 1. Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing & polishing floors. 2. Vacuum rugs, carpets & other areas as required. 3. Dusts & polishes furniture & other surfaces. 4. Empties, replaces liners, & cleans waste receptacles. 5. Cleans restrooms to include sinks, toilets, mirrors & other fixtures. 6. Washes windows and sills, cleans walls, doors, door handles and knobs, tables, benches, and occasionally other furniture as required. 7. Cleans other sinks, drinking fountains, and other equipment as directed. 8. Preserves equipment and materials through proper storage. 9. Performs site deep cleaning during school vacation periods, to include carpet and floor cleaning. 10. Collects and disposes of trash and debris on the school grounds ensuring that the immediate exterior of the school is kept clean. 11. Refills paper towel, soap dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers as needed. 12. Performs other related tasks to support school operations such as unloading pallets, setting up/taking down tables, chairs, benches, or desks.
