Requirements / Qualifications
Under the supervision of a school Administrator and daily guidance of the Lead Campus Supervisor, candidate performs a variety of duties associated with supervision of students on campus. Patrols school buildings, grounds, and parking lots; maintains order and prevents bullying, discrimination, vandalism, theft, and littering. Assists in the prevention of unauthorized visitors and activities on campus; and performs other job-related duties as required. Qualifications: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and one year of experience working with students/youth. Candidate must be able to develop appropriate interpersonal relationships with students to earn their respect and cooperation in following directions and school rules. Candidate must intervene appropriately to deter and modify inappropriate student behavior of a relatively minor nature, and report serious infractions to the Principal or Vice Principal for possible discipline. Candidate must employ conflict resolution skills to de-escalate and resolve potentially violent student conflicts.
