Job Summary

Visions is seeking a School Social Worker that will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of programs and services schoolwide that support student social, emotional, and mental health development. The School Social Worker will provide school based oversight and case management services in order to support continued academic progress and social, emotional development of students. In general this position will work a hybrid schedule of 1 day per week in the office and the other days remotely as instructed. In addition, this position requires in-person attendance to training, student/family meetings as needed and community events. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. This position will be supporting students in Sacramento County, and neighboring communities. A Master’s Degree in Social Work and a minimum of working to complete their Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
