Job Summary

This Fall the South Bay Consortium of Wiseburn Unified, Lawndale Unified Elementary, and Torrance Unified School Districts are recruiting a cohort of teacher residents for the South Bay Consortium Teacher Residency. This is an innovative and affordable pathway to a full-time teaching career in our community. Residents earn their Master’s Degree and Teaching Credential in one year, while joining a supportive, mentor-based cohort program with an emphasis on diversity, social justice, and equity. After the year of residency, graduates receive priority hiring as full-time teachers with the Consortium Districts.
