Job Summary
Under the supervision of a certificated administrator, the Instructional Assistant is responsible to assist a certificated teacher or other certificated personnel, by performing a variety of duties related to student instruction. Note: All Instructional Aide III Applicants are required to possess a completed associates or bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.

Department of Justice fingerprint/background clearance

Qualified applicants, who meet the minimum requirements, will participate in a written examination and technical oral interview, which will demonstrate the required knowledge and skill for this classification.
Applicants with 12 or more units in early childhood education or childhood development preferred.
