We are currently seeking applications for a part-time instructor with a background in Special Education and/or Multiple Subjects to teach a math course in our Intern Teacher Program. Instructors will teach courses in the Intern Program and Pre-Service for Education Specialists and/or Multiple Subject credential candidates. Intern courses will be taught in a hybrid format (online and in-person). The math course is 5 sessions long and will run January 8 through February 6th. Candidates should be knowledgeable in course design, lesson planning, teaching adult learners, and competent to conduct instruction independently and without supervision. Instructors will also receive training in the Yolo-Solano Center for Teacher Credentialing learning management system and are expected to calculate and enter their own grades and attendance. We are currently seeking an instructor to teach coursework in math, however other course openings may occur over the year. JOB LOCATION Davis, California AND remote
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree or completion of 30 units of graduate work Education Specialist mild/mod or Ed Specialist mod/severe credential, Single Subject Math or Multiple Subjects credential, or equivalent Teaching experience in Special education and/or Multiple Subjects, either K-12 or higher education Experience with facilitation, distance learning and teaching online Coursework, other scholarly preparation, and/or career experience relevant to the course assigned Preferred – teaching experience in K-12 public schools Preferred -experience in facilitating groups and with blended learning Preferred -experience in designing courses and/or curriculum in K-12 or in higher education

SALARY INFORMATION:
This is a stipend based position. The stipend is: $1875 (15 hrs of teaching / 10 hrs of prep and attending 2 instructor meetings)
