Job Summary

Job Summary

Elementary Music Teachers provide music instruction to the elementary students at the various school sites within the district. This position teaches musical education skills including music appreciation, instrumental music, harmony, and explorations in music to elementary students. Furthermore, the elementary music teacher works cooperatively with other music teachers in planning a balanced music education program that transitions to middle and high school. This position will include, but is not limited to, instruction in artistic perception, creative expression, and historical context within the study of music.

-Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Music -Letter of Introduction -2 Recent Letters of Recommendation (at least one from a supervisor) -Resume -Copy of Credential -English Learner Authorization -Transcripts
