Job Summary
Working under the general guidelines of the CSIS program, the CSIS Data Governance Administrator will oversee the direction of CSIS’s data governance programs, learning management programs, and digital content delivery. This role involves overseeing various initiatives and resources for CSIS administered projects including local education agencies (LEA) training, digital media production, content development and general CSIS program support. The CSIS Data Governance Administrator supervises the CSIS Field Support Technicians, CSIS Field Support Specialists, and CSIS Implementation Specialists’ roles; assigns tasks; and monitors the development and delivery creation of training content and materials to support of data collection and systems and efforts supported by CSIS. Additionally, this role serves as a key resource for LEAs in their efforts to improve data quality, accuracy, and accountability.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in K-12 environments. Experience in data governance, data management, and curriculum development for adult learners preferred. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in data management, information systems, education, or a related field required. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. This position is overtime exempt and has a probationary period of one year.
