Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, perform a variety of general clerical duties in support of human resources and payroll operations and activities; assist in the interview and hiring process for assigned personnel and update employee information as needed; input timesheet information and payroll information as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform a variety of general clerical duties in support of human resources operations and activities including typing, filing, duplicating and distributing materials; process a variety of forms and applications. •Prepare interview paperwork and packets; verify applications are complete according to District regulations; screen applicants for interview selection according to established procedures; contact and schedule candidates and employees for related appointments and trainings; Coordinating new employee employment processes and information accordingly. •Input, update and access a variety of personnel records and information in assigned computer system; process employment documents according to established procedures; establish and maintain employee files. •Monitor assigned screening re-evaluations to assure conformance to State Health Code; monitor teacher credentials and verify current status. •Collect and input assigned personnel timesheet information into an assigned computer system according to established procedures; add hours and code timecards according to established procedures; verify hours, signatures and authorizations; balance monthly and hourly payroll as assigned. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in payroll, employee leaves and attendance, or related accounting record-keeping work required. Experience with county office of education or K-12 school district payroll is desired.
