The Lake County Office of Education offers the following benefits to regular classified employees:
• Health and Welfare: there is an annual benefits cap of $17,500 for full-time employees; part-time employees (6+ hours per day) receive their cap at a prorated rate. Includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision for employees and all eligible dependents, based on the Tier coverage selected by the employee. Employee's out-of-pocket contribution amount will vary based on the selection; employees may purchase coverage through a 125-cafeteria plan.
• Longevity Pay (Years: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35)
• Paid Sick Leave (96 hours per year/prorated based on service days/hours)
• Vacation Pay (15 to 27 days/Yr. depending on years of district service)
• Paid Holidays (See District Calendar)
• Retirement plan contributions
• Employer Paid Life Insurance (employee only)
• Employer Paid Air Ambulance Membership
• $10,000 Sign-on Bonus*
*($10,000 paid upon hire. In the event that the employee leaves the agency within twenty-four (24) months of the date of hire, the employee will be responsible for reimbursing the agency for the prorated amount)
