Job Summary
The Educational Technology / Help Desk Technician provides technical support and assistance to students, teachers, and staff in a K-12 school district. This position resolves technical issues related to educational technology systems while assisting in managing, implementing, and troubleshooting classroom technology tools. This position is the primary point of contact for the District’s educational technology for staff and vendors. The role ensures the smooth functioning of technology-based learning and administrative activities by providing frontline support and training.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: - High School diploma; or equivalent GED required - Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Experience: - At least two years of experience in a technical support or help desk role, preferably within a school or educational setting. - Experience working with educational technology tools, including learning management systems, Google Workspace for Education, and classroom devices is preferred. Certifications (Preferred): - Comp TIA A+, Network+, or Google IT Support Professional Certification. - Certifications in specific educational technology tools (e.g., Google Certified Educator).
