Initial Salary Placement: Fully credentialed Speech & Language Pathologists shall be awarded full service credit for years served with an accredited institution (based on verification of coursework, credential and experience). Speech & Language Pathologists working under a waiver for credentialing will be placed at their actual placement on the AVUSD Certificated Salary Schedule, Class & Step or Class IV-Step 7, whichever is highest.
Salary is paid over 12 months.
$5,000 hiring bonus will be divided into 12 equal payments throughout the 2024/2025 school year.
$10,000 annual stipend shall be paid 50% on December 1st and 50% on June 1st paychecks to fully credentialed Speech & Language Pathologists.
$20,000 district distribution to Health and Welfare Benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance for employee and dependents.
