Completed Classified Edjoin application - Resume - Typing Certificate of 40 net words per minute less than 2 years old 5 minute duration (Online certificates are not accepted) - At least three signed Letters of Reference less than one year old and one must be from immediate supervisor (Electronic signatures are not accepted) - Must pass Secretarial/Clerical examination: Exam will be administered TBD, located at 1717 W. Merced Ave. West Covina 91790. All of the required documents must be submitted with the application in order to test and be considered for the position. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Under the direction the assigned supervisor, provide library media services related to the circulation, distribution, and recovery of library and reference books, textbooks, technology devices/equipment, and other instructional materials; collect and disburse various school fees and other monies; prepare and maintain related records and files. Also collect, account for, maintain, and disburse various school fees and cash funds including shop class fees and revolving cash fund requiring increased knowledge of financial record-keeping.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school including or supplemented by course work in record-keeping and three years increasingly responsible clerical experience including one year in a library or media center involving contact with young adults and the preparation and maintenance of financial or statistical record-keeping.
