Job Summary

The Marketing & Communications Manager works as part of the Business Services team to lead all efforts involving marketing, pay-per-click advertising, communications and all related technology tools (website and intranet using a Wordpress infrastructure). Along with the Chief Operations Officer and other leadership staff, the position will help guide the organization’s future, with particular focus on developing and managing scalable marketing and communication systems and processes. You and your team will partner with internal and external business stakeholders to provide recommendations and improvements to marketing and communication strategies based on the best practices, analysis of reports, data trends, and other key indicators. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Carmichael/Gold River, CA and 2 days remotely. However, depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. - Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Website Design or Public Relations. - 3-5 years of experience working in website design, marketing, communication, public relations, pay-per-click advertising related positions is highly desirable. - Advanced level ability to design, create and manage content within a WordPress environment which includes managing plugins and numerous system integrations. - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience leading, supporting, and managing a team to meet organizational goals and objectives is highly desirable. - Experience developing appropriate metrics, communicating data analysis, development and delivery of recommendations with presentations to various stakeholder groups. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing marketing strategies that have led to measurable improvement.
