MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 4 years of recent law enforcement experience, including 2 years of experience at the rank of Police Sergeant or higher rank. - 2 years of experience at the rank of Military Police Sergeant or higher may be substituted for 2 years of experience as Police Sergeant or higher. - Bachelor's degree in Police Science, Law Enforcement, Administration of Justice, Business Management, Business Administration or closely related field from an accredited college or university. - Possession of a valid P.O.S.T. Supervisory Certificate. - Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: -Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in police science, law enforcement, administration of justice, business management, business administration or closely related field (Preferred) Pending Job Description Revision
Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.
