Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting, finance or related field and two years of clerical accounting experience. • Knowledge of clerical accounting principles and techniques involved in financial record-keeping, monitoring and control. • Knowledge of preparation, maintenance, verification and processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable documents. • Knowledge of preparation of financial statements and accounting reports. • Ability to perform complex accounting duties in the maintenance of assigned accounts or functions. • Ability to verify, balance and adjust accounts. • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. • Ability to meet schedules and time lines, and complete work with many interruptions.
