QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma is required, Associate’s degree is preferred; • Minimum of three years of broad and varied clerical experience; • Successful experience demonstrating tact, courtesy, positive attitude, and maintaining cooperative relationships with those contacted during work; • Possession of current/valid First Aid and CPR certification; • Spanish preferred. OVERVIEW: Under the direction and supervision of the Principal, perform a variety of clerical duties and administrative tasks to support the operations of an Elementary school. The position works cooperatively with the Elementary School Secretary. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform a wide variety of clerical work including word processing, record keeping, sorting and filing of forms and documents, data processing, receiving and sending mail; • Front office reception, and assist students, families, and the general public; • Post district communications and maintain bulletin boards; • Prepare letters, memos, book lists, bulletins, or other requested material; • Assist in the administration of federal testing as assigned (CAASPP) which may include training administrators and proctors, setting schedules for testing, and determining test administrators for students with accommodations; • Prepare transcripts of students’ records; • Assist with and support student Independent Study Contracts; • Maintaining student cumulative files and the transfer process of these files as required; • Prepare enrollment reports as required by the district; • Maintain private driver forms and evidence of insurance; • Prepare simple statistical reports and perform calculations; • Collect and account for monies received for a variety of school purposes; • Account for daily lunch orders and order breakfast/snacks for after school through Food Services; • Prepare stores and purchase orders; • Maintain inventories of office and classroom school supplies; • Arrange for bus transport
