Under the direction of school site administration and/or classroom specific certificated personnel, provides comprehensive interpretation/transliteration of educational and general information for students, DHH parents, and DHH staff members by using manual and oral methods of communication.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must attach a current resume and a two letters of recommendation as well as the following: High School Diploma or GED. Any combination equivalent to and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) Certificate. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) desirable. Valid California driver’s license. First Aid certification desirable.
