The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. Job Summary

Job Summary

The Coordinator, Community Schools, will support the development and coordination of professional development and other support services for Community Schools related projects for the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) project team. Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to supporting the development and implementation of regional services as part of the Southern Inland Regional Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) which includes the priority areas of the Community Schools strategy. Additionally, this position will collaborate with the Community Schools project team to design, facilitate, and align innovative practices that support student achievement through the Community Schools’ priority areas; and be responsible for coordinating and facilitating various county committees, staff development, and leadership activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (COE); • Master’s Degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university; • Two (2) years of leadership experience as an administrator, coordinator, or team leader of PreK-12 related educational programs and or initiatives, at a school, district, or county office.
