SITE COORDINATOR OF COMMUNITY SCHOOLS JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Executive Director of K-12 Teaching and Learning and/or designee, assist in the management and day-to-day operations of the practice of community schools. The Site Coordinator of Community Schools will develop and implement staff, parent and community workshops, and facilitate outreach services for families. The Site Coordinator of Community Schools will engage in communication and build relationships with community-based organizations that can support and provide services to the school site and its surrounding community. The position will also serve as a liaison for agencies and programs interested in partnering with the District and the identified community school sites.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree preferred. •Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in community organizing, education, health or social work. •Experience with federal and state programs and/or working with schools in school improvement is a plus.
