Job Summary
Directs financial activities of the school district including payroll, position control, payables, and receivables, attendance, inventory, accounting, and budgeting. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the District’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; supervising employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION: Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university in accounting, finance or business administration. EXPERIENCE: Five years of recent experience in a managerial post and in the supervision of a fiscal and/or purchasing services program, preferably in a public agency.
