Visions In Education is seeking a Student Technology Support staff member that will perform tasks by applying existing policies, procedures and guidelines. This position has limited variation and difficulty, and applies basic concepts, practices and procedures related to assigned duties. This position will assist end-users in the configuration and troubleshooting of computer issues. The work is often checked for accuracy and may work independently on smaller projects. This position solves routine problems and will refer other problems to higher levels. This position will provide quality customer service; maintain cleanliness of work area, computing devices, and equipment; and support students and families. This position will work at our office in Carmichael/Gold River, CA. Shifts available during department hours of Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Hours worked per week range from 0-24. - For High School students, a 3.0 GPA or higher is required - Technology certification and/or applicable coursework desired. - Experience supporting computer operations and/or maintenance of desktop peripherals, word-processing, spreadsheet, database operations, and telecommunications is desired.
