Job Summary

Under direct supervision of the Principal, the Higher Education Coordinator assists with the development and implementation of college and career readiness programs. Provides information and guidance to students, teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure students' college and career readiness. Maintains accurate records of student participation in college and career readiness programs and transition to post- secondary education/training.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college requirement Master's degree desirable Possession of a California Pupil Personal Services Credential (PPS) in counseling desirable Experience in academic and or college counseling Deep Commitment to working with under resourced students and their families Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable Experience: Four years of experience in counseling in a k-12 environment. Experience in the area of college & career readiness preferred. Knowledge of or ability to learn, interpret and apply Visions In Education's objectives, policies, procedures, rules, regulations and operations.
