Multi High Level in person teaching Integrated Education and Training (IET) class with focus of language proficiency and emphasis on Health Care Basics, Medical Terminology and Communication Class times: Thursday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and an additional 3 hrs/wk for student support and facilitation. Class held on campus / in person which is subject to change based on CDC guidelines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: CA Teaching Credential with ESL Authorization or in the process of securing the credential CA. Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential Experience with multi-level ESL and students of differing cultural backgrounds and learning styles preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and present lesson plans. Prepare a course outline and syllabus stating the class goals, course content, classroom policies and procedures and methods of evaluation. Use a variety of instructional techniques and materials including online resources that are appropriate to the course and accommodate all learning styles. Administer assessments to measure student progress. Create a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic potential and prepare them for transitioning into postsecondary education, and or vocational and community goals. Maintain current and accurate records of student attendance. Participate in required, Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings.
