Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a general education teacher, the successful candidate will assist in the academic program in grades 6-12, and support operations of the resource center. Certificated Teacher Resource (CTRs) are a key part of each resource center’s instructional team. The CTR position is full-time, 40 hours per week. CTRs are role models for our students, and are expected to look, act, and speak, as representatives of the school at all times.

Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university 30-Day California Substitute Teaching Permit Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction Years of experience working directly with middle and/or secondary students Preferably have experience working with specialized student populations (English Learners, Homeless, Foster Youth, etc.) Possession of a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation TB Clearance Obtain Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance through the DOJ and FBI
