Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the successful candidate will assist in the academic program in grades 6-12, and support operations of a community-based resource center. Resource Center Associates (RCAs) are a key part of each resource center’s instructional staff. The RCA position is hourly and part-time, 25 hours per week. RCAs are role models for students and expected to look, act, and speak as representatives of the school at all times.

Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent Completion of two years college coursework from an accredited college or university (Minimum of 48 semester units)- must attach all unofficial college transcripts verifying completion of 48 semester units Reliable transportation Pass a work styles/behavior survey and math assessment Clear background check by the Department of Justice and FBI Excellent organization, time management, and record keeping skills Experience working with youth and specialized student populations preferred TB Clearance

Selection Procedure: Selected applicants will first complete a work-styles/behavioral survey and a math assessment. Candidates who successfully pass this initial phase will advance to an interview with a panel of School Administrators. Those who excel in this stage will move on to a final interview with the Deputy Superintendent of School Services and Founding Director and the Superintendent of School Services and Founder. We do not invite all applicants to an interview. We do not hire everyone who applies, and we do not discuss our hiring decisions with applicants.
