The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. There is currently ONE positions open in the Fiscal Services Department. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position.
Under direction of an assigned administrator, perform a variety of specialized and highly complex duties involved in purchasing furniture, equipment, supplies, and services for District schools, departments, and offices; research, obtain, and evaluate related bids, quotes, pricing, and product information; prepare, process, and evaluate complex purchase orders, requisitions, bid specifications, contracts, records, files, and reports.

Graduation from high school or equivalent supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting, business, purchasing, or related field and four years of increasingly responsible experience in the purchase of supplies, services, and equipment including work in the procurement of contractors and preparation of contracts and bid specifications.
