REAL Journey Academies (RJA) is a non-profit, charter school organization headquartered in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. With 14 years of experience, RJA currently operates five school sites serving over 2,000 TK – 12 students and is developing plans to expand operations in the Inland Empire and other regions of California. We provide students with a safe environment that challenges them and helps them excel in their academics and development as a student. Job Summary
RJA is seeking a highly innovative Assistant Principal (AP) to lead a talented and mission driven staff of entrepreneurial thinkers and who are committed to shepherding the school to the next level of academic excellence. This individual will assist and works closely with the Principal to lead and implement the instructional vision to achieve outstanding academic results. The AP should possess a deep knowledge of teaching and instruction as well as demonstrated success in engaging and inspiring a school community to achieve high levels of student success. The AP acts an on-site co-administrator, who under the general direction of the Principal, works in all aspects of the educational program and to build rewarding work environments that retain exceptionally talented educators. The AP must be able to assist the Principal in translating the needs of school students into a well-organized and effective school.
