Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION: Possession of appropriate California Single Subject Credential in Art or a Multiple Subject Credential with a Supplementary Authorization in Art. The ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is desirable. Desired qualifications: Knowledge of inquiry based learning methods. The ability to incorporate investigative problem solving and collaborative research into lessons. Possess the ability to team teach, collaboratively plan, and teach students the attributes of being a global citizen. Possess the ability to use learning targets for guiding and assessing students. Demonstrate the ability to use differentiated instruction to address the strengths and needs of diverse learners. SPLIT ASSIGNMENTS: BIRNEY TECH ACADEMY AND MAGEE ACADEMY OF ARTS & SCIENCES NORTH RANCHITO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND RIO VISTA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEMPORARY, 10 MONTHS, 185 WORK DAYS, 2024-2025 School Year

El Rancho Unified School District may allow a maximum of 12 years out-of-district experience towards placement on the salary schedule.
