Requirements / Qualifications

ENTRANCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: High school diploma or GED certificate. Ability to pass the District Proficiency Examination at the level appropriate to the job classification. Basic knowledge of and experience in the use of the PC and basic computer software programs. KNOWLEDGE: Correct usage of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition and vocabulary. Accurate record keeping and basic arithmetic. Use of the PC and basic Microsoft Office Suite programs and accountability software. Use of standard office equipment; i.e., fax, scanner, printer. Ability to maintain an organized office, including paper and electronic filing. Talk and put students at ease during testing situation. Ability to work with a diverse population. Test in jails in a variety of situations. Give clear test instructions. Carry out oral and written instructions in an independent manner. Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the performance of required duties
