The Vacancy: There is one, 6 hours a day, school year position, at a school site. This recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies, and temporary/substitute positions in this classification for up to six months. The Position: Under the supervision of a School Site Administrator, serves as an outreach liaison to support families with school-aged children. Serves as a communications liaison between families, community agencies, and the school to promote positive attendance, behavior, academics, and family engagement. Assists in scheduling parent education, family events, and parent meetings. Works effectively with people of all cultures.
Required Qualifications: Any combination of training and experience would provide the required knowledge and abilities as qualified. Must be fluent in Mandarin, and have a current CPR and First Aid certification prior to starting the assignment and maintaining current certification at all times. California Driver’s License is preferred. Selection Procedure: The selection process will consist of a written exam and a qualifications appraisal interview each weighted 50%. The following must be submitted with the application:
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Driver's License Copy
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three, no older than a year, one from current employer, signed and dated)
