* * * POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED FOR THE 2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR * * * MIDDLE SCHOOL POSITION * * * * * LOOKING FOR CREDENTIALED, AND EXPERIENCED TEACHER * * BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Spanish teacher will teach one or more classes of Foreign Language to pupils in grades 7-8, and assists in other school programs as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * California Single Subject Teaching Credential – Foreign Language / Spanish * Must meet ESEA Highly Qualified teaching requirements * EL Authorization * Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Spanish, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements * Personal appearance, grooming, and personality which establish a desirable example for pupils QUALITIES: * Ability to meet district standards for physical and mental health. Must have proven ability to relate well with students, parents, administrators, and teachers. * Must possess good judgment, knowledge of school and district policies, and ability to reinforce appropriate school behavior.
